Prosciutto Chips Recipe
I feel like it is reasonably safe to say that prosciutto is fairly, if not heavily, addicting. Whether as an accompaniment to a cheese board, layered on a sandwich, or wound around a piece of fruit, I am immediately drawn to any dish that promises the sweet, salty decadence that is the king of Italian hams. As much as I enjoy the tender, chewy texture of thinly sliced prosciutto, I often turn to it as a way to add texture and richness to a meal by roasting it until crispy. These absurdly easy prosciutto chips can be added to a sandwich or crumbled over risotto or a salad for a salty, crispy punch. If nothing else, they're yet another great reason to keep always keep some prosciutto on hand.
