Bacon Jam + Apple + Cheddar Grilled Cheese Recipe
As a fan of REAL, ACTUAL bacon, I've never been terribly keen on the idea of bacon flavored "things" (likely because I am still recovering from a horrific bacon flavored soda incident from 4 years ago). That is, however, until I met my new friend - The Bacon Jams' Bacon Spread - aka the sweet smoky goodness in a jar made from nothing but trusty old bacon, brown sugar, onions and a "whole lot of stirring." Although I may or may not have caught myself dipping pita into it or casually adding a dollop or two to my salad (#judgeme), the jam truly spread its wings in this sweet, crisp, cheesy grilled sandwich concoction I put together one fine afternoon. Do yourself a favor and grab a jar of this stuff and let me know how your version of this sandwich (or whatever other jammy realness you assemble) turns out!
