Photos from New Orleans' Southern Decadence 2016

Early this September I flew to New Orleans from North Carolina for a trip lasting less than 24 hours. I was visiting one of my best friends who lives in a fantastic loft right off Bourbon Street for Southern Decadence, an annual six day pride event that has been running since 1972. Although he had attempted to warn me of the debauchery that was to ensue at NOLA's pride Mardi Gras of sorts, even I was wide-eyed at the excitement of the events that followed. Although the trip was a brief one, those 24 hours were full of some of the most energetic, colorful, and downright decadent memories of late. View the gallery of my turn and burn trip below:
